Fire rages near Jablanica: Armed Forces helicopter requested to battle blaze in pine forest

Due to an active pine forest fire on inaccessible terrain in the Pisvir area near Jablanica, assistance has been requested from a helicopter of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The fire broke out on Friday afternoon, and members of the Jablanica Firefighting Unit battled the blaze from 2:30 pm to 9 pm. According to information from the field, the fire remains active due to the inaccessibility of the affected area.
During the day, Jablanica firefighters also intervened in Brgulici, where grass was burning from 5 pm to 5:50 pm.
In the Mostar area, the Firefighting Unit had five interventions. Grass and low vegetation burned in Kocine, waste in Kralja Tomislava Street, waste, grass, and low vegetation on the road to Aluminijski, and forest and low vegetation in Bijela. The extinguishing of a waste fire in Splitska Street was also recorded.
Firefighters in Capljina intervened four times. Fires were recorded in Gabela Polje, at the city landfill Ada, in Gnjilista, and in Klepci, where grass, garbage, and plant waste were burning.
