Over the last 24 hours, patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 12,869 tested, 1,656 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
To date, COVID-19 has claimed 7,188 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.97 percent.
Currently, 917 people are in hospitals, 28 of whom on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,870,940 people have officially been tested, and 737,969 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
