Several flights scheduled to arrive at Sarajevo International Airport were cancelled last night due to dense fog, including flights operated by Croatia Airlines from Zagreb, Austrian Airlines from Vienna, and Turkish Airlines from Istanbul.

According to a statement from Sarajevo International Airport, the departure flights for these airlines, scheduled for this morning from Sarajevo, were also cancelled.

Meanwhile, early morning flights to Frankfurt (operated by Lufthansa) and Luton (operated by Wizz Air) departed on schedule without delays.

The airport has indicated that the status of incoming flights to Sarajevo remains dependent on weather conditions.

“Due to fog and reduced visibility, we cannot yet confirm how air traffic will proceed. According to meteorological forecasts, we expect conditions to improve after 11 am,” airport representatives stated.
