The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against former general of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fikret Prevljak, who stands accused of committing war crimes in the Hrasnica area, which led to his arrest a month ago.

He is charged with committing war crimes in his capacity as the commander of the 4th Motorized Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Along with him, at least 10 other individuals have been indicted.

According to a statement from prosecutors, Prevljak is accused of “organizing the detention and mistreatment of civilians of Serb nationality” in a detention camp during the war.
