Former Sarajevo mayor new Bosnian ambassador in Qatar

Former Sarajevo mayor Abdulah Skaka was appointed the new ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Qatar, local media reported.

Skaka will take office on October 1, this year.

Online news website Inforadar reported that this news comes unexpected, explaining that now former ambassador in Qatar Haris Lukovac resigned two years before the end of his terms, and returned to Sarajevo a few days ago.

Abdulah Skaka was Sarajevo mayor in the 2017-2021 period and was succeeded by Benjamina Karic in April this year.
