Four arrested in major drug pperation 'Panter' as police seize narcotics, guns, and cash

The operation was conducted under the supervision of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office to document the unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs. In the area of Borci, near Konjic, law enforcement authorities located a plantation containing approximately 400 cannabis plants, along with complete logistical equipment used for illegal cultivation.

Searches of properties used by the suspects yielded tens of packages containing around 25 kilograms of substances resembling speed, hashish, and marijuana. Officers also seized over 45 kilograms of mixing agent used to increase drug volume, two handguns with corresponding ammunition, and equipment designated for processing and distribution. Additionally, police confiscated approximately 70,000 Bosnian marks (approx. € 35,790) in cash across various currencies, including EUR, BAM, USD, and CHF, as well as a Mercedes G-Class motor vehicle.

Three men and one woman were arrested during the raid: Samedin Fisiv (45) from Konjic, Semir Ducic (40) from Sarajevo, Ivan Majic (34) from Sinj (a Croatian citizen), and Jelena Hribar Hadzic (43) from Tuzla. The suspects face charges of co-perpetration in the extended criminal offence of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs. Samedin Fisic is additionally charged with the illegal possession of weapons or explosive materials.

The suspects are currently undergoing criminal processing at the Sarajevo Canton Police Administration and will be handed over to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office later on Wednesday.
