Four Bosnian citizens were arrested Wednesday night in the Ilidza municipality area after migrants were found in the three vehicles they were driving.

As announced by the Sarajevo Canton Interior Ministry, everything took place during a routine control of three passenger vehicles when they discovered 12 migrants and four BiH citizens, three men and one woman, residing in the Sarajevo Canton area.

“The driver of one of these three vehicles refused to stop at the signal of the police, so the police chased him and stopped him in a very short time. One male person, initials M.D., a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, physically attacked police officers, causing minor physical injuries to two of them and damaging one official vehicle, while the police officers, using force, brought the person under control. Four BiH citizens were apprehended, and migrants were also detained, along with a certain amount of drugs, ammunition and a discarded rifle was also found”, the Interior Ministry said.

The on-duty prosecutor, of both the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, were informed about the event.
