The injured are in a stable condition and receiving medical treatment, the European Union military force in Bosnia and Herzegovina said in a statement.

No civilians were injured in the crash, and there was no damage to civilian infrastructure, property or vehicles.

Emergency services from Bosnia and Herzegovina and EUFOR Liaison and Observation Team personnel responded to the crash, recovered those involved and transported them to medical facilities in Brcko.

EUFOR said it was conducting a thorough investigation to establish the facts surrounding the accident and would release further information as it becomes available and is verified.

The mission urged the public to refrain from speculation about the identities and nationalities of the personnel involved, as well as the circumstances of the crash, and to follow official EUFOR channels for verified updates.

“We understand the need for timely answers in situations such as this. However, accuracy must remain the priority,” EUFOR said.

It warned that publishing unverified claims could lead to inaccurate conclusions and unnecessary public concern.

EUFOR expressed its deep sadness over the loss of life and extended condolences to the families and friends of those who died.
