The German international discount retail chain Lidl denied some local media reports which said it is leaving Bosnia’s market, adding that it is still searching for locations for its stores in the country.
"Lidl BH wants to clarify that the news and media reports about the company leaving the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina are inaccurate. In this way, we want to refute the untrue claims that are being made and we want to emphasise that we are still actively looking for locations for Lidl stores throughout BiH. Also, we are intensively continuing with the employment plan and expanding our team," the company told N1.
N1 found out that Lidl has already bought certain locations for future facilities that will not be open for some time in accordance with the company's policy.
