Ministers in the Government of Serbia, led by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, arrived Monday morning at the International Airport in Sarajevo, where they were welcomed by the Prime Minister of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Radovan Viskovic.
The Serbian delegation then headed to the RS Government Administrative Center in East Sarajevo, where a session of the entity and Serbian governments is underway.
A joint session of the governments of the Republika Srpska and Serbia began in East Sarajevo.
The session in the Administrative Center of the RS Government in East Sarajevo was preceded by a meeting between the RS and Serbian Prime Ministers, Radovan Viskovic and Ana Brnabic.
Viskovic previously announced that the joint session would, among other things, discuss the Hydropower System “Gornja Drina,” the construction of the highway from Raca to Bijeljina, and the airport in Trebinje.
After the session, the Prime Ministers of RS and Serbia will hold a press conference at 12 pm.
Bilateral meetings of competent ministers and secretaries-general are scheduled for 12:30 pm.
The delegations of the two governments will then go to Foca, where Viskovic and Brnabic will lay the foundation stone for the Buk Bijela Hydroelectric Power Plant on the Drina River, the construction of which will be financed by the Serbian and RS power companies in the amount of 220 million euros.
