HDZ BiH Presidency held a session on Monday and decided the talks will start with 'the eight' – a group of parties that reached an agreement on formation of parliamentary majorities at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina early in October.

That includes the Social Democratic Party, the People and Justice, the Our Party, the People's European Alliance, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Initiative – Kasumovic Fuad, the Democratic Action Movement, for the New Generations and the SBiH party.

HDZ BiH leader Dragan Covic said following the Presidency session that he expects the new Council of Ministers Chairman will be his party's candidate.

Potential coalition with the aforementioned parties, according to Covic, will also mean they would have a joint programme and this would primarily include the reforms for continuation of the Euro-Atlantic road of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which means among other things the changes to the Election Law. Other priorities would include the rule of law and economic-social set of reforms.
