HDZ BiH leader not surprised by BiH coalition break up

"Last night, when we talked with friends from the FBiH, the Troika emphasized the possibility of opening the partnership issue at the BiH level precisely because of the partner's relationship to European laws, and I’m not surprised by their attitude. I believe that we will sit down very soon, these European laws must get adopted. I will try to arrange a new meeting to plan the route for the second and third months. There is a lot that we have to do together, first of all, because I don't see any luck in the re-composition of the government because it would last, I'm afraid, even a year," Covic said.

He said that he still believes that this coalition can survive. He also said that "regardless of who is on the other side, HDZ BiH will continue to vote for all European laws".

"We need to talk, so even if we part ways, we need to talk. I believe that this coalition will survive, but we need to talk," Covic noted.

He said that he also spoke with "friends from SNSD," and that the condition for the new meeting is that both European laws pass in the House of Peoples.

When asked how he would vote if there is an initiative to dismiss BiH Security Minister Nenad Nesic at the session, he said: "A partner takes care of himself, he takes care of his partner as long as he’s a partner. As for the Security Minister, I don't know how that will play out. The idea was for him to resign himself and thereby make it easier

for us]."

He also announced that an agreement had been reached regarding the budget at the BiH level, but also that it could be adopted in the FBiH next week in both houses.
