The HDZ BiH delegation, led by Dragan Covic, held a meeting with SNSD leader Milorad Dodik in Banja Luka today. After the meeting, it was said that they had implemented everything they had agreed before the formation of the government and said: "HDZ and SNSD are ready to follow each other and are not ready to go in or out without each other".

“Regarding the work of the Council of Ministers, HDZ and SNSD cooperate well. There is no reason not to hold regular meetings and consultations, including the third partner,” said Dodik and said that he was satisfied with the decisions of the Council of Ministers so far, because they implemented everything that was agreed upon before the formation of the government.

“We also talked about the FBiH Government and I want it to be formed as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity with the new structure of the RS Government and our party to harmonize certain policies and projects. This should give new content to our overall relations, there is no reason for blockages. If Germany or another bank blocks funds for the RS, we are not ready to support such projects in FBiH and that will remain the policy in the future. HDZ and SNSD are ready to follow each other and are not ready to go in or out without [to anything] each other. It is never directed against third parties. We want additional consolidation of our partners in the Federation of BiH”, said Dodik.

Covic said, “I hope that within the Bosniak political scene, they will understand that this is a current political moment that should be followed and that they should not go to blockades.” I am convinced that HDZ and its partners will find enough wisdom to confirm the FBiH Government in the House of Representatives”, he said and added that he believes that in about 10 days, governments will be formed in the cantons where HDZ is the majority.

“A lot of topics have been put in the drawer and need to be taken out. We are ready to be partners until the end”, said Čović.
