Severe weather conditions and heavy snowfall have caused significant disruptions to the electrical grid across multiple cantons in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Communication Service of Elektroprivreda BiH (EP BiH) reported that teams are currently on the ground working to stabilize the network.

The power supply remains highly unstable in the Una-Sana Canton due to infrastructure failures within the Elektroprijenos BiH system. The most critical situations are reported in Velika Kladusa and Buzim, while additional malfunctions have been recorded in Sanski Most, Bihac, Kljuc, and Cazin. In Bosanska Krupa, an alternative technical solution has been implemented to restore power to a portion of the customer base.
In the central and Sarajevo regions, outages caused by snow-laden grids and facilities began last night on the Bjelasnica and Igman mountains. Recurring faults have also been reported in Ilijaš and on the Nisici plateau. Significant damage has been reported on the 10 kV network in Vares, Olovo, Zavidovici, and Maglaj. Furthermore, the 35 kV transmission lines Banovici–Vozuca, Vares–Nisici, Breza–Varec, and Zavidovici–Zepce are currently out of service.
The situation is more stable in other regions, such as those under the jurisdiction of Elektrodistribucija Mostar, though teams are working to restore power to a small number of customers in the Konjic area. Supply interruptions also persist in the Central Bosnia Canton, specifically in the Jajce–Vinac region. EP BiH has deployed all available electromechanical teams to the field, and full stabilization of the power supply is expected throughout the day as repairs continue.
