High domestic price pressures persist as Bosnia's Central Bank reveals latest inflation figures

Official statistical data suggests that inflationary pressures sharpened marginally in March compared to February across the price categories used to calculate core inflation.
In a statement, the CBBiH noted that its estimate of core inflation, rooted in official statistics, sits a mere 8 basis points above the projections made during the March round of rapid assessments. The bank further observed that the levels of annual core inflation and service sector inflation for the first three months of the year remain broadly in line with those recorded throughout the previous year, highlighting the continued persistence of domestic inflationary pressures.
