During this operation, the freedom of movement within the Center was temporarily restricted, and individuals, belongings, and premises were searched to find those illegally residing there, as well as illegal weapons, drugs, and other items related to criminal activities or that could pose a threat to the safety of the Center's users and staff. The operation aimed to identify organizers of criminal offenses such as “Organizing a group or association to commit the criminal offense of smuggling migrants” under Article 189a of the BiH Criminal Code and “Human smuggling” under Article 189 of the BiH Criminal Code, along with other criminal offenses.

During the operation, actions were taken against 30 foreign nationals who were found illegally residing in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the Center. These individuals were handed over to the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs for further processing.

Additionally, a quantity of cold weapons and other prohibited items, which could be used for attacks or inflicting injuries on the Center's users or staff, were found and confiscated.

The police authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in collaboration with relevant prosecutor’s offices and other domestic and international partner agencies, continue their activities aimed at preventing and uncovering criminal activities, thereby improving the security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
