The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, sent a letter to Sarajevo mayor, Benjamina Karic, expressing his gratitude for her participation in the "Kyiv Investment Forum 2022" and Sarajevo’s support at a difficult time for Ukraine.
Karic participated in the Kyiv Investment Forum in November, when she and Klitschko signed an Agreement on establishing friendly relations between the two cities.

“Allow me to express my highest consideration and gratitude for the support and help at this difficult time for Ukraine, during the unjust war started by the russian federation with barbaric and terrorist methods.
When we have such friends around us, we become stronger. And our strength is the democratic freedom. These terrorists destroy our infrastructure: we cannot call our close people, get warm in winter, wash our hands due to lack of water. It's not scary. The heaviest losses are human lives.
In this most difficult period, in the midst of darkness, we see the light – our common values and goals. And because of your help this light becomes brighter.
Taking this opportunity, I want to thank you once again that you, as true friends, are helping us rebuild our home. Your participation in the “Kyiv Investment Forum 2022” is an important gesture of help to rebuild a part of Europe. And Victory Day will be our common celebration.
On the eve of the New Year 2023, on behalf of the Kyiv Community, I wish you happiness, success, the discovery of new opportunities and a real miracle.”
