"We want to mark the continuity of Bosnia's statehood in this way as well, paying tribute to the last Bosnian King Stjepan Tomasevic. Bosnia and Herzegovina has survived and outlived the Ottoman Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the former Yugoslavia, which puts it among the countries in the world that have outlived other, much larger and more powerful countries," said Komsic.

On that occasion, Zeljko Komsic invited all BiH citizens to gather at the King's Tomb on June 5 every year, a traditional event marking the continuity of Bosnia and Herzegovina's statehood.
