Bosnia and Herzegovina's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elmedin Konakovic, stated on Saturday in Sarajevo that they are "not interested in reactions" from Serbia regarding the resolution on the Srebrenica genocide, asserting that such reactions only serve to reveal the neighboring country in its "true light."
Following the commemoration of the 32nd anniversary of the formation of the First Brigade of the Stari Grad Sarajevo Police, Konakovic commented on the increasing attacks and accusations from Belgrade. These accusations claim that the resolution will destabilize Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Balkans and is directed against a specific nation.
“We are not interested in their reactions; they only reveal them in their true light to us. We will ensure that the rest of Europe and the entire world see what kind of people glorify war crimes. You have seen the Deputy Minister of Defense who, amid discussions about the resolution, went and paid homage to war criminal Ratko Mladic. We don't need a better answer as to why this resolution is necessary and currently needed,” concluded Konakovic.
