Bosnia's Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic held an online meeting with BiH ambassadors in EU member states and the head of the BiH Mission to the EU with a focus on the opening of accession negotiations, which is expected next month.

The meeting participants informed Konakovic about the previous activities regarding lobbying, advocacy and promotion of information about BiH's progress on the path to the EU in the member states where they are accredited.

Konakovic noted that this is the last round of talks on an important segment of BiH's European path ahead of the March Report of the European Commission in which the progress achieved by the country should be recognized, followed by a recommendation to the European Council to decide on the opening of accession negotiations with BiH.

He expressed hope that in the coming weeks, the BiH political leaders will all dedicate themselves to achieving the long-awaited goal in the process of European integration.

All ambassadors of BiH in the EU member states responded to the meeting, which clearly shows the common determination in the country for the European path, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
