The Chair of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Kristo, hosted the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandrokovic, during his official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Discussions underscored the value of fostering friendly and cooperative relations between Bosnia and Croatia, particularly emphasising collaboration between the two neighbouring countries. The meeting highlighted the importance of maintaining strong bilateral ties rooted in mutual respect and shared interests.
Chair Kristo expressed her sincere gratitude to the Prime Minister of Croatia for the significant support provided during the recent floods in BiH, including €10 million in financial assistance. This gesture was acknowledged as a testament to the strong partnership between the two nations.
She reaffirmed her commitment to advancing BiH’s European integration agenda, emphasizing the need to strengthen relations with EU institutions, member states, and neighbouring countries that share a vested interest in the stability and progress of the region.
The meeting concluded with a shared recognition that Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European future is imperative. Full adherence to the country’s constitutional and legal framework, as well as the protection of the rights of all three constituent peoples and citizens, was underscored as essential to aligning with European standards and norms.
