Public Enterprise Komunalno, will stop producing and delivering thermal energy to users in Livno, due to the insufficient number of users and the unsustainability of the system.
As reported by that company, the heating will stop in a week. The problems for this company began in October last year when the City Council adopted a decision to raise the price of heating for households by one hundred percent for natural persons and 235 percent for legal entities in Livno.
The previous disturbances in the energy market, inflation and problems with energy suppliers, i.e. wood chips, which the public company supplies from the company Prima Prom from Banja Luka, were cited as the reason for the aforementioned decision.
Precisely because of such a decision, their long-term users, some of whom are city and cantonal institutions, switched to their own sources of better thermal energy.
However, they have retained a certain number of users who, because of this announcement, will now have to manage their own heating, Vecernji.ba reported.
