Malaysia will send the first batch of the total of 50,000 coronavirus vaccines to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, and the delivery is expected a day later, local media reported on Monday.
The vaccine donation was announced in late March.
Reportedly, the Malaysian government decided to send the vaccines after Bosnia Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovic talked to Prime Minister of Malaysia Muhyiddin Yassin, asking him to help Bosnian authorities establish the contacts for the vaccine purchase.
Earlier reports said that the doses that Malaysia is sending to Bosnia and Herzegovina are the vaccines made by Chinese producers.
