Local media reported that Mcdonald's restaurants in the southern city of Mostar will close on Friday, and it was announced earlier that Sarajevo restaurants would close due to rent debts.
McDonald's opened its first restaurant in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo in July 2011.
The franchise owner has not confirmed or denied the information. Also, it is not clear if another local business owner would take over the franchise rights.
