Bojan Bosnjak, the Minister of Public Utilities, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction, and Environmental Protection in the Sarajevo Canton Government, has been arrested as part of the ongoing operation code-named "Incitat 2," the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office said.
Following his detainment by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Bosnjak will be handed over to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office for further processing.
As part of the operation, SIPA officers have also searched the offices of the Ministry of Public Utilities, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction, and Environmental Protection. These activities are being conducted under the warrant of the Sarajevo Cantonal Court, supervised by the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office, and in cooperation with the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior.
The investigation centres on allegations of abuse of position or authority and money laundering, as outlined in the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The activities are ongoing, and the public will be informed of the final outcome in due course,” the Prosecutor’s Office stated.
Operation “Incitat 2” is part of a broader effort to uncover and address corruption within institutions in Sarajevo Canton. As the investigation continues, further developments are expected.
