Mostar Airport expands regional reach with new Sofia charter flights

Mostar Airport has officially announced the launch of charter flights connecting Mostar and Sofia, scheduled to begin on March 29. This new air link is set to significantly improve accessibility to the Herzegovina region for tourists traveling from Bulgaria.

Bulgarian travel agencies have identified the area's high tourism potential, selecting Mostar Airport as the primary hub for their seasonal arrangements. According to airport officials, public interest in these trips is substantial, with all available travel packages already sold out ahead of the inaugural flights at the end of March.
Upon arrival in Mostar, visitors from Sofia will be based in Neum. Their itineraries include organized excursions to key regional attractions, including Dubrovnik, Split, the Kravice waterfalls, and Međugorje.
Airport representatives emphasized that this partnership serves as further evidence of Mostar Airport’s growing reputation as a reliable partner for international agencies looking to bring organized tourist groups into Herzegovina.
