Mostar students mark Bosnia Independence Day by planting 1,000 trees
Aware of the fact that many forests in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been destroyed, the employees of the "Mujaga Komadina" Elementary School, in Mostar, along with parents and students of the school, decided to contribute to the preservation of the environment.

By purchasing and planting 1,000 black pine seedlings on Fortica Hill above Mostar, they decided to celebrate one of the most important dates in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its Independence Day somewhat differently.
Over time, many Bosnian forests were destroyed and in this way, the 177 students of this school decided to contribute to their homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina. They dedicated the planting to the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, school director Semir Sejtanic.
