With a spectacular fireworks display, Sasa Kovacevic led Mostar into 2025, captivating thousands of visitors who filled the city streets on the Neretva River. A vibrant musical program and euphoric atmosphere made Mostar a prime destination for tourists across the region.

The main event featured performances by regional star Sasa Kovacevic, the iconic Mostar band Zoster, and DJ Nikic, who energized the crowd at the start of the evening.

The celebrations continue today with a concert by the legendary group Prljavo kazaliste, supported by Neno Tomicic, Antonija Batinic, and the band Gabriel.
Local accommodations are fully booked, according to city officials, and restaurants have reported record attendance, solidifying Mostar’s status as a must-visit winter destination.

In addition to the New Year’s Eve festivities, children were treated to the “In Search of Santa Claus” program held outside the Croat Home of Duke Stjepan Kosaca. Through dance, music, and theatre, young participants enjoyed a magical experience that culminated with Santa distributing gifts and spreading joy.

The winter magic in Mostar continues on January 5 with a performance by Italian street entertainers Giardino delle Blu, while the city’s ice rink will remain open until mid-January, offering more reasons to visit.

Speaking ahead of the three-day New Year’s celebration, Mayor Mario Kordic expressed confidence in a record number of tourists visiting the city, marking a successful start to 2025.
