Members of the association "Mothers of the Srebrenica and Zepa Enclaves Movement" reacted to a statement made by Serbia’s National Assembly president Ana Brnabic on X, in which she accused the Munira Subasic of "threatening the children of Aleksandar Vucic". The association said that Brnabic's "constructions and monstrous manipulation" represent "nothing but a continuation of the genocidal policy of the 1990s".
“Turning a noble statement by a mother into a threat is a new invention by Aleksandar Vucic, one that even Goebbels would envy. Of course, this statement, immediately after Vucic's conference, was attributed to Ana Brnabic, the President of the Assembly of Serbia, to give it more weight. Munira Subasic never even wished death upon the son of Mislav Galic, who led her son to his death, let alone the children or grandchildren of Aleksandar Vucic“, it said.
“May your children be alive and well, and may dear Allah grant them to see their own children. If only Ana had her own children to understand what true maternal love is“, Subasic added.
BiH’s Defense Minister Zukan Helez also reacted to Brnabić's statement earlier, saying that she “shamelessly fabricated” Subasic’s alleged statement and called her a “monster”.
