Bosnia’s Football Federation (FF BiH) announced Monday that a contract was signed between Telekom Srbija and N/FS BiH regarding the broadcast rights of matches of the BiH Premier League and the Cup of BiH in football, the details of which were learned by N1.

According to unofficial information, the FF BiH and Telekom Srbija signed the largest contract on the transmission and broadcasting rights of football matches in the history of BiH football, and the figure is significantly higher than the one that was paid three years ago, which amounted to something more than 20 million Bosnian marks (roughly €10 million).

The same source claims that Telekom Srbija will pay slightly more than 30 million Bosnian marks (approx. €15 million) for five seasons, which is a significant figure for Bosnian football.

However, the question now remains where will football fans be able to watch matches of the BiH Premier League? On Telekom Srbija’s “Arena” sports channels? N1 contacted the FF BiH but has not received any information on this and other questions until the publication of this text.

N1’s FF BiH source also confirmed that part of the money from Telekom Srbija will be used for the next big project of the FF BiH President Vico Zeljkovic, the cousin of the Republika Srpska President, Milorad Dodik – the implementation of VAR technology on football fields across Bosnia, which was also confirmed by Zeljkovic himself.
