NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has announced the alliance would make steps to provide support to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia.
“For Bosnia and Herzegovina. We could develop a new defence capacity-building package, and assistance will be tailored, demand-driven, and delivered with the full consent of the countries concerned,” he said.
As for Georgia, he announced an increase in support through the substantial NATO-Georgia package, including in areas like situational awareness, secure communications and cyber.
He also noted that the nations including Finland, Sweden, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Australia and Japan, all non-NATO members, were also at the meeting because Russia’s actions had a global security impact.
