NATO Secretary General says alliance will not allow Bosnia's disintegration
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that resolving issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the sole responsibility of the country's leaders, urging them to take charge and lead the country toward stability and prosperity, according to the Srna news agency.

Speaking at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s spring plenary session in Dayton, Rutte emphasised that the Alliance will not allow any disintegration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He highlighted the importance of the upcoming NATO Summit in The Hague as a crucial moment for strengthening collective defence and deterrence, as well as enhancing the Alliance's operational capabilities in confronting new and complex threats.
Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Kemal Ademovic, along with deputies Marina Pendec and Obren Petrovic, took part in the spring session.

The plenary was opened by US Congressman Michael Turner, head of the US delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, who stressed that maintaining peace and security remains the core mission of the Alliance.
Turner also underlined the importance of lasting global stability amid current geopolitical challenges.
High-level officials from the Western Balkans and neighbouring countries also addressed the session, particularly underscoring NATO’s role in maintaining regional stability and the need to strengthen cooperation and continue Euro-Atlantic integration, according to a statement from the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
