Admiral Rob Bauer, the Chair of the NATO Military Committee, is coming to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, N1 learned Friday.
As Military Advisor to the Secretary-General and the North Atlantic Council, Admiral Bauer is NATO's most senior military officer.
Admiral Bauer took office a year ago, and in May he visited Croatia. Then, speaking about the situation in the Balkans, he said:
“We are present at the KFOR mission in Kosovo, we have headquarters in Sarajevo, and we also have several contact points between the headquarters and representatives in the countries in the Western Balkans to make sure that everyone works for stability in the region, so that people understand that it is necessary to find peaceful solutions to the existing disagreements.”
He will stay in Sarajevo for two days, where he will meet with BiH officials.
