The new protest under the slogan "The line exists" in support of Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik and the Director of the RS Official Gazette, Milos Lukic, will be held Friday in the said entity.

N1 learned that the protest will be held in Vlasenica in Ostra Luka. The protest is organized by Dodik's sympathizers who stated that the gathering would begin at 6 pm.

The BiH Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against the RS President and the Director of the Official Gazette of the RS for the unconstitutional decision not to publish the decisions of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt. Last week, these protests were also held on entity boundary lines, during which traffic was blocked, which caused numerous reactions from the domestic, but also part of the international public.

Despite the Sarajevo Canton Interior Ministry banning peaceful protests “RS on trial” in Sarajevo, the Committee for the Protection of Serbs in the Federation (FBiH) entity invited citizens to come to the four locations of the inter-entity line on the first day of September, from 6 pm, to express their dissatisfaction with the BiH judiciary.

The invitation to gather on the inter-entity administrative line followed after the Sarajevo Canton’s Interior Ministry rejected the Committee’s request to hold the protest in front of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the BiH capital, with the explanation that it was a high-risk gathering.
