BiH Presidency Chairman Sefik Dzaferovic received the letter of credence Monday of the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to BiH Julian Reilly.
The two discussed the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom, which were assessed to be extremely good and friendly, with room for further strengthening and development.
It was also pointed out that this year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and the United Kingdom.
Chairman Dzaferovic thanked the United Kingdom for providing support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, peace and integration path of BiH, as a witness to the Dayton Agreement that ended the 1992-1995 war in BiH. and one of the strategic North Atlantic partners of the country.
They discussed the improvement of economic and other forms of cooperation, and the importance of the appointment of Sir Stuart Peach as the United Kingdom's special envoy for the Western Balkans was highlighted.
Chairman Dzaferovic welcome Ambassador Reilly and wished him a successful mandate.
