Newly appointed US Ambassador Murphy happy to be back in BiH

Addressing BiH citizens, Murphy said he was very happy to be back in the country, where he served as head of the Political Department from 2006 to 2009.

he added he was well aware that he returned to BiH during the period that many claim is the most difficult after the war. His priority will be to support the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, the reforms that followed at the state level, which were agreed upon by senior elected officials, and most importantly, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH.
