In the winter semester of the academic year 2023/2024 a total of 50,354 students were enrolled in higher education institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) entity in 2018, which is 6.1 percent or 3,264 students less than in the previous academic year.

A total of 76 percent of students were enrolled in full-time studies, 19.5 percent in part-time studies, and 4.5 percent in distance studies.

In 2023, 9,275 students graduated in the FBiH, which is 10.6 percent or 1,099 students less than in 2022. The number of female graduates was 5,951 or 64.2 percent.
