"The mentioned person has been reported twice since this morning for disturbing public order and peace,” the RS Interior Ministry said, explaining that Vukanovic first “insulted” the head of the Trebinje District Court and then was reported for recording the official, as well a the head of the Basic Court in the town.
The MP also “refused to act according to a lawful order by police officers,” the RS ministry said.
Vukanovic, a member of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS), is known as a fierce critic of the government of the RS, especially the ruling party in the semi-autonomous entity.
Before he was detained, he was recording officials he said were arriving late for work at the Palace of Justice in Trebinje and stopping them to ask them questions and criticise them.
