OSCE: Mostar citizens have high expectations from new mayor

Mostar citizens have high expectations from the new leadership in southern Bosnian city and they deserve leadership that will “foster constructive dialogue and address the most pressing issues,” the OSCE Mission in BiH said, welcoming the election of mayor and City Council speaker in Mostar.

Mario Kordic, a member of Bosnia’s Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH), was elected in the third round of the mayoral vote in Mostar with a majority of 17 votes. His opponent from the Coalition for Mostar, Zlatko Guzin, got 16 votes. Two votes were invalid.
