Pakistani migrant returns from Italy to live in Bosnia
Saim Sandhu is a Pakistani migrant who travelled 10,000 kilometres on foot to try to find a better life in Bosnia.

He began his journey in Pakistan believing that somewhere in Europe he could find a place to live.
Saim received protection and support for vulnerable groups of migrants who remain in Bosnia and Herzegovina from Caritas Switzerland.
At first, it seemed he got everything he wanted, but things took a different turn.
His life in Italy was not what he dreamt of and after everything he went through, he decided to return to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today Saim lives in Tuzla, he found friends who are now his family, he has a home, he is learning the Bosnian language and waiting for the papers that will allow him to stay here permanently.
