US special envoy Matthew Palmer and European External Action Service (EEAS) director Angelina Eichhorst are meeting with members of the Inter-Agency Working Group for electoral reform on Thursday.

The meeting comes after the two met with members of both houses of Bosnia’s Parliament on Wednesday to discuss the issue.

Palmer and Eichhorst stressed that electoral reform is key for overcoming the political crisis in Bosnia and strengthening the country’s institutional framework, urging politicians to reach a compromise.

The negotiations will continue in the southern town of Neum.
