Deputy Minister of Security Ivica Bosnjak, who attended the session, stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina’s security situation is under control. He also dismissed reports that certain employees of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) had transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska (RS), urging caution in spreading unverified information.

Bosnjak emphasized that all law enforcement representatives present at the session provided reports on the security situation, reaffirming that agencies regularly coordinate and communicate. He called on political, judicial, and media representatives to de-escalate tensions and allow security institutions to perform their duties without additional pressure.

The Commission also discussed challenges related to employee retirements and efforts to strengthen the capacity of the Border Police, which is currently understaffed by 600 officers, with similar numbers set to retire in the coming years. A working group has been formed to draft a Law on Police Employees to address these issues.

Regarding recent claims that SIPA employees were transferring to the RS police, allegedly following calls from RS President Milorad Dodik, Bosnjak reiterated that no such transfers had taken place. He dismissed reports of mass departures as misinformation and stressed the need for responsible reporting.

On the issue of Dodik's refusal to respond to a summons from the Prosecutor’s Office, Bosnjak stated that security agencies will assess how and when to take necessary measures, should legal orders require action.
