Around three months after the catastrophic floods hit the area of Donja Jablanica, Konjic and Fojnica, which left a total of 27 people dead and dozens homeless, N1 crew visited Donja Jablanica in the south of the country, and recorded the current situation.

On Monday, the delegations of the Federation entity Government and ‘FBiH Railways’ public company visited the Komadinovo vrelo location, where they talked about the reconstruction of the railway on this part of the road and the consequences of the floods that hit this area in October last year.

“I am happy that today we are witnessing a key step in the reconstruction of the railway. Nine days after the new management was appointed, they started to work, 20 days after the appointment they received a building permit. They coordinated what was the offer of the private sector from the very moment of the disaster in Jablanica, which was an offer for a donation and to start work. This is the repair of something where we reacted very badly, but now we are fixing it,” said transport and communications minister Edin Forto.

The photo gallery below shows the current situation in the area.
