Only a few times a year – when nature allows it to happen, a human eye witnesses a rare phenomenon on the Mt Cvrsnica – a 584-metre high waterfall sliding down into Drezanka river.

Veliki Movran waterfall appears only on the days of heavy rainfalls or snow melting and is the highest waterfall in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the starting point at 1,383 metres above sea level.

Photographer Boris Trograncic managed to catch the spectacular sight and shared it on social networks.

“I am sharing with pleasure the photos I made in the canyon between the mountains of Cvrsnica and Cabulja. Veliki Movran waterfall is a rare phenomenon, it appears only during the heavy rainfalls, once a year in average,” Trograncic wrote in the caption, reminding that this is one of the highest waterfalls in Europe.
