PIC SB warns that RS Election Law and Civic Initiative Law seek to create parallel legal frameworks

The Ambassadors of the Peace Implementation Council’s Steering Board (PIC SBA) noted on Tuesday that the recent publication in the Republika Srpska (RS) entity's Official Gazette of the RS Election Law and the Referendum and Civic Initiative Law is seeking to usurp responsibilities of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) and create parallel legal frameworks, the PIC SBA noted in their public statement.
