The part of the gas pipeline that ruptured in Bulgaria has been repaired so gas will be delivered to Bosnia and Herzegovina again as usual and citizens do not need to fear a lack of heating since Bosnia does not have gas reserves.

BiH citizens did not have proper gas delivery due to the malfunction for the past three days, as the country lacks a gas storage facility.
"Ten minutes ago, I received information from the ministers that the problem had been resolved and that the gas started flowing towards BiH. These days we have been looking to maintain the system, to get certain quantities and to meet the minimum needs,” said the Energy, Mining and Industry Minister of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, Nermin Dzindic.

He said that, on Thursday, the FBiH Government will discuss the situation in the sector.

“One of the conclusions of the talks with the actors in this sector is that we should build gas reserves. We have seen what one malfunction what can do, what kind of problem it can create,” he said.
