Police seize 15kg of narcotics in Sarajevo during ‘Avenija’ operation

The suspect is charged with the unauthorised production and marketing of narcotic drugs and the forgery of documents. It was further noted that the individual had previously received a one-year prison sentence for assisting a perpetrator following the high-profile murder of Faris Pendek.

During the searches of the suspect’s person, residence, and vehicle, police discovered and seized approximately 10kg of a substance suspected to be amphetamine and 5kg of suspected cannabis. In addition to the narcotics, officers recovered a forged Slovenian identification document, precision scales, packaging materials, and multiple mobile phones.

The arrested individual has been transported to the FBiH Police Administration for criminal processing and will be handed over to the competent Prosecutor's Office along with an official report on the alleged criminal offences.
