Procession with caskets of 14 Srebrenica genocide victims arrives in Sarajevo
This morning, a convoy carrying the caskets with the remains of 14 victims of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide departed from Visoko. Moments ago, the convoy arrived in Sarajevo, where it briefly stopped in front of the BiH Presidency building. Gathered citizens paid their respects by reciting Fatiha and placing flowers on the caskets.

The convoy is expected to reach Srebrenica in the afternoon. This year, 14 individuals have been identified and will be buried in Potocari on July 11.
Denis Becirovic, a member of the Presidency of BiH, addressed the media in Sarajevo.
"These are difficult moments for us and for the whole world. We have come to express our respect for the only genocide in Europe after World War II. The genocide was committed. In addition to the verdicts of UN courts, there are numerous resolutions adopted by other countries. Since May 23, we also have a resolution from the UN General Assembly. The truth about the committed genocide can never be erased," said Becirovic.
Emza Fazlic, spokesperson for the Missing Persons Institute of BiH, told N1 this morning that most of the victims were exhumed in the years 2000, 2006, and 2011, and their remains have been waiting for their families' consent.
"The exception is the youngest victim, Beriz Mujic. He was killed in 1995, and his remains were exhumed last May in the Suceska area. The oldest victim to be buried is 68-year-old Hamed Salic, whose remains were exhumed in 2013 in Slap, Zepa," said Fazlic.
