The gross electricity production in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity reached 479 GWh in October 2024, compared to 595 GWh in the same month of 2023.

In the total gross production of electricity, hydropower plants contributed 53.86 percent, thermal power plants 42.59 percent, and wind power plants 3.55 percent.

The brown coal production in FBiH reached 337,146 tons in October 2024 and in the same month of 2023 it was 346,105 tons.

Lignite production in FBiH was 115,308 tons in October 2024 and 140,279 tons in the same month of 2023.

Coke production reached 36,836 tons in October this year, while in October 2023, it was 67,021 tons.

The import of oil products in October 2024 reached 118,987 tons, and during the same month of 2023 it stood at 111,950 tons. Of the total imports, 77.09 percent of diesel fuel was imported in October, 10.91 percent of unleaded motor gasoline, and 5.60 percent of fuel oil and extra light heating oil, according to data from the FBiH Statistics Institute.
