The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has filed a motion with the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo to order a one-month detention for the suspect involved in the recent tram accident.

The detention was proposed due to the risk that the suspect's presence at large could lead to significant public distress.

According to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, a hearing is scheduled for early Sunday morning, during which a final decision on the detention motion will be made.
